Don Clark

My Work is my Love!

Don’s lifelong love of sports and athletics did not peak as a football and baseball player at Sparks High School in Sparks, Nevada. He has maintained fitness as a core value as an active sports enthusiast throughout his adult life. Don’s role as a Navy corpsman during Desert Shield and Desert Storm led him to a career with the California Department of corrections where he was appointed to the Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) SERT and Crisis Response Team (CRT).

Don has been a football coach at Lassen high for 9 years and has coached youth football for 10 years. He was introduced to Crossfit in 2012 when he was attracted to their approach to weightlifting, an activity he has participated in his entire life. Don embraces Crossfit’s emotional appeal – working hard to achieve personal goals in an encouraging group setting. He is inspired to encourage athletes of all levels to realize their fitness, wellness and healthy lifestyle goals, even if it begins with 1 pullup.

Don’s wife, Kim assists at Dirty Deeds Crossfit and both his son Tyler, a Junior at UNR and his daughter Jordan, who enlisted in the Army upon graduation for Lassen High in 2016, are enthusiastic Crossfit athletes.
